OUR GATHERINGS

COMMUNION.

Sharing the Bread of Life and Cup of Joy so that it will nourish each of us with what we need to be nourished with each week so that we may go out and nourish the world. All are welcome to participate.

WORD.

God created us as curious, intelligent beings. Questioning and doubting are our natural processes to discover our own truths.

God has inspired individuals to create sacred texts that contain universal truths about how to relate to God as well as how to relate to each other.

PRAYER.

Our way of communicating with God so that relationship is built and grows more and more intimate over time. This is the same as what happens in person to person relationships.

WE ARE HONEST, ENGAGING, AND RADICALLY INCLUSIVE.

We are a small, ever changing group who gather in an online environment, via Zoom, to worship our all-loving God with each other. Together, we pray, partake of communion, fellowship, and study to dig deeper into Scripture and discuss how it all applies to our daily lives as we discover our own truths and experience God’s love.

FELLOWSHIP.

We are relational beings that are made to live in community with God and others. Fellowship with others assists each of us by offering support, inspiration, and motivation as we walk through our individual lives and journeys of faith.

COME, MEET OUR PASTOR.

Welcome! My name is Kim Turcotte, pull up a comfy chair, grab a cup of coffee or tea and let me tell you a little about myself.

I am a graduate of St. Joseph’s College  with a degree in Theology, as well as an ordained priest. In addition to this role, I am many things to many people, including mother, wife, daughter, friend, pastor, colleague, confidant, spiritual counselor, and writer.

All of these roles depend on and stem from my relationship with the Divine Creator. The metaphor my spouse and I use to describe our relationship is that it is like an Oreo cookie. The two chocolate cookies are the two of us and the cream filling is God who holds us together. This is the same for my relationship with others, myself and the person I am in relationship with are the two pieces of cookie and the filling that makes us stick together is God. So, God is always in the middle and is the glue that bonds two people together and makes the relationship healthy and successful.

My passions are helping others see and feel the all encompassing and inclusive love that God has for them and studying the Bible and other ancient texts.

Love, Laughter, and Blessings to all…

WE BELIEVE…

We believe in the one Divine Being that makes up the Holy Trinity:

  • In God the Creator of all things known and unknown
  • In Jesus the Redeemer, God made flesh
  • In the Holy Spirit, the Wisdom of God, who dwells within each of us, guiding and instructing

We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, God's way of pulling believers together:

  • To worship God; teach, learn, and support each other
  • To be the hands and feet of Christ in the world

We believe that God is love, and that being created in God’s image we are called to be love to the world.

We believe that all people are given grace and love from God equally and without condition and therefore we too should offer this to all without exception.
